What You'll Do
- Lead with Confidence: Provide hands-on support, guidance, and direction to housekeeping associates, maintaining a visible leadership presence throughout both properties.
- Maintain Exceptional Standards: Supervise the cleanliness and presentation of more than 300 guest rooms and public areas, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
- Create Memorable Guest Experiences: Respond promptly to guest concerns and requests, ensuring corrective action is taken immediately and issues are resolved professionally.
- Train and Develop Your Team: Conduct regular training sessions, pre-shift briefings, and departmental meetings to keep associates informed, prepared, and motivated.
- Coordinate Daily Operations: Schedule and assign associates based on occupancy forecasts, staffing needs, room assignments, and established service standards.
- Manage Supplies and Inventory: Monitor supply levels, maintain appropriate par stocks, order and retrieve supplies, and conduct monthly inventories of departmental equipment.
- Maintain Key Control and Lost & Found: Ensure proper key security, accurate inventory records, and organized lost-and-found procedures.
- Control Costs: Monitor payroll, equipment, and supply expenses while supporting efficient department operations and completing required billing procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Review written communications, staffing plans, room assignments, and operational updates to ensure all team members and supporting departments have the information they need.
- Lead by Example: Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the housekeeping department.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities across two properties.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
