About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

The Team

The Content Innovation & Visualization team works across S&P Global Ratings to make complex information easier to understand, explore, and act on. Bringing together business knowledge, data, technology, visualization, and storytelling, the team develops solutions ranging from dashboards and interactive experiences to AI-enabled workflows and executive communications. The team partners closely with analytical, business, technology, product, commercial, and leadership teams to translate important business needs into practical, scalable solutions that support internal decision-making and how Ratings research, data, and insights are communicated to the market.

Responsibilities and Impact

In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from early-stage concept through delivery and adoption. You will bring structure to ambiguous business problems, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and connect business needs with data, technology, AI, and effective communication — moving fluidly between strategy and hands-on execution. The role leads primarily through projects, partnerships, and influence rather than direct people management.

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and requirements gathering through solution development, implementation, and adoption — managing priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across concurrent workstreams.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with analytical teams, business leaders, technology and product partners, and other key stakeholders across S&P Global Ratings; facilitate conversations that clarify problems, challenge assumptions, and align stakeholders around practical solutions.
  • Determine the right approach for each business challenge — whether through data analysis, visualization, AI, process improvement, storytelling, or a combination — and identify opportunities to use data, analytics, automation, and AI to improve decision-making, productivity, and user experiences.
  • Work directly with data, AI tools, and analytical technologies to explore ideas, test assumptions, and develop early-stage prototypes; partner with technical specialists to move viable concepts from experimentation to scalable solutions.
  • Translate complex research, data, and business information into clear, actionable narratives; develop and guide executive presentations, dashboards, interactive content, and other stakeholder-facing materials, presenting findings and recommendations confidently to senior audiences.
  • Evaluate emerging tools based on practical value, accuracy, and alignment with data and technology controls; contribute to repeatable approaches, standards, and best practices that strengthen the team's ability to deliver consistently and scale across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10 or more years of relevant experience in project or program management, financial services, credit, research, analytics, business intelligence, technology, digital product development, consulting, or a related field. Individual with less years of experience could be considered at Associate Director level.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, evolving priorities, and concurrent workstreams, with strong stakeholder management skills including experience engaging senior leaders and technical teams.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured projects, clear requirements, and practical solutions, with a strong analytical orientation and comfort working with data, metrics, and evidence to support decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.
  • Technical curiosity and the willingness to learn, test, and directly experiment with new tools and approaches, with the ability to balance strategic thinking, project leadership, and hands-on contribution in a dynamic environment, underpinned by strong judgment and attention to quality.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in credit ratings, credit markets, financial services, research, or another analytically driven environment.
  • Familiarity with how research, data, and analytical content are developed and used by internal or external audiences.
  • Experience applying generative AI, automation, or AI-enabled workflows to business problems, including prototyping data, analytics, visualization, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, Power BI, or similar analytical or data visualization technologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards, interactive content, analytical products, executive presentations, or digital communication experiences.
  • Familiarity with data governance, responsible AI, or technology controls in a regulated or reputation-sensitive environment.
  • Experience working across global, distributed, or multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Information

  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
  • This position is open to qualified candidates across all U.S. locations. The role may be performed on a fully remote basis or under a hybrid work arrangement, depending on business need and the selected candidate's proximity to an S&P Global office. Candidates working under a hybrid arrangement will be expected to work from their nearest S&P Global office a minimum of two days per week.
