Overview
As a Staff Accountant focused on lease accounting, you will play a key role in managing lease accounting and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. Responsibilities include abstracting lease documents, analyzing lease terms, setting up and maintaining lease agreements in Yardi, creating rent schedules, analyzing income statement and balance sheet accounts, and facilitating audit requests. You'll work with various teams to ensure proper accounting for lease terms and support the financial integrity of Welltower's operations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and offers minimal travel.
