Description
NSTS was founded over 70 years ago by the university students and is owned by the National Students Travel Foundation (Malta), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering non-formal educational programmes to students at all levels. Its objective is to provide holistic educational experiences and meaningful engagement in English, drawing on Malta’s unique culture and fascinating heritage.
NSTS is now seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead its commercial activities. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on business development and bring the knowledge, drive, commitment, and expertise required to further strengthen the organisation’s impact.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the role requires innovative thinking, a proactive approach to quality management, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to guide the organisation’s continued growth and development.
Other responsibilities include:
- Driving business development initiatives;
- Recruiting, directing and developing the leadership team;
- Maximising team engagement;
- Ensuring effective controls within the organisation to achieve set objectives.
You are likely to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role and can demonstrate the necessary expertise to build an exceptional management team. You are to be highly motivated and capable of balancing between human relationships at work and a drive to achieve results.
The position demands a highly organized individual with robust decision-making and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are imperative for success in this role.
