Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Officer to provide overnight security coverage for multiple commercial properties in the Salisbury area. This position requires a proactive individual who can travel between client locations, identify security concerns, and respond appropriately to unusual situations.

The successful candidate will perform vehicle-based patrols, inspect properties for signs of unauthorized activity, and help protect client assets through consistent observation and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and takes pride in maintaining high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol Activities

• Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols at assigned client locations
• Travel between multiple commercial properties throughout the shift
• Inspect parking lots, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter areas
• Verify that gates, doors, and restricted areas remain secure
• Maintain a visible security presence to support property protection efforts

Site Observation & Security Awareness

• Watch for unauthorized individuals, suspicious behavior, vandalism, or trespassing
• Identify signs of property damage, equipment issues, or safety concerns
• Investigate unusual conditions and determine appropriate next steps
• Report urgent concerns promptly to supervisors or designated contacts
• Assist in protecting client property through proactive monitoring

Incident Response

• Respond to security related situations according to established procedures
• Exercise sound judgment when evaluating incidents and determining responses
• Document findings and actions taken during security related events
• Coordinate with management or emergency services when necessary

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete accurate patrol reports and activity logs
• Document incidents, observations, and property concerns in a timely manner
• Utilize company reporting platforms and mobile technology as required
• Maintain detailed records throughout each shift

Professional Conduct

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and client representatives
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and client specific instructions
• Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Minimum of three years of licensed driving experience
• Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, patrol, military, law enforcement, or related experience
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
• Experience conducting inspections or monitoring multiple locations
• Familiarity with electronic reporting systems and mobile applications

Work Environment

• Overnight mobile patrol assignment
• Primarily vehicle based security operations
• Routine outdoor exposure in varying weather conditions
• Frequent driving with periodic walking inspections
• Independent work environment requiring consistent alertness and decision making
