Description
Job Summary: This position assists and supports others in a department, subdivision, function, or
project. The position relies primarily on established policies, procedures, and applicable work practices
to make decisions as they apply to the job duties and responsibilities.
Reports to: Service Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform major (non-routine) service repairs to company and customer equipment both in-branch and at field locations.
- Safely load, unload, and transport equipment for servicing.
- Complete all necessary documentation including work orders, parts requests, billing records, and warranty reports.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Assist other technicians with advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution; may act as a team lead for complex repairs or major assembly/disassembly tasks.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with customers to assess, explain, and address service and repair needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and global operational standards.
- Adhere to and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
- Plan, organize, and execute assigned work with efficiency and accuracy.
- Service and repair all vehicles and equipment across the fleet as required.
- Meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a technician in equipment, fleet, or heavy-duty mechanical/electrical repair.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel islandwide.
