Overview
Our client is a MNC group and they are seeking a seasoned and hands-on IT Manager to oversee and drive their enterprise database upgrade projects. In this role, you will be the custodian of their global supply chain and sourcing data pipeline. You will be responsible for managing relational databases, optimizing complex data structures, and ensuring seamless delivery of critical business reports to global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a project lead, lead and manage the enterprise project from end to end.
- As a tech lead, lead offshore development team to achieve projects milestone.
- Oversee the health, performance, and security of the company’s enterprise SQL Server database environments, data warehouses, and reporting structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units (Sourcing, Logistics, Finance) to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Architect, maintain, and optimize multi-dimensional data models to support advanced business analysis and historical supply chain trend forecasting.
- Manage and enhance enterprise-wide automated reporting solutions, ensuring high availability and accuracy of daily operational and financial reports for global vendors and management.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines to ensure optimal system performance and data integrity.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of system design and database management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience working within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Global Retail industries is highly preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Advanced SQL querying, and performance tuning.
- Strong proven track record in SSAS for data cube development.
- Deep hands-on experience in SSRS for report generation and deployment.
- Strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
