LREI Afterschool - Substitute Teacher

Our Afterschool Program runs from Monday through Friday, 2:30-6pm.

 

Hours: As needed - this is a substitute position.
 

Position Description:

• Supporting a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for school-age children (4 year-olds - Middle School).

• Supporting daily activities for Afterschool students including - homework support, art projects, group games, cooking projects, and projects inspired by the interests of the students. 

• Communicate with Afterschool Team and Admin about relevant information that comes up with children.

• Work collaboratively with other teachers.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience in an educational program or setting.

• Ability to support group activities for school-age children.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and communicate effectively.

• A background in a creative discipline such as art, dance, theater or music is preferred.
