When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Accounting team you are expected to prepare and deliver accurate reconciliation and reporting of accounting activity. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain top standards. You are expected to focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while managing and inspiring others to deliver quality work.

Main Responsabilities:

- Prepare and record journal entries for Trial Balance postings (Balance Sheet and P&L).
- Manage and control cost accounting and allocations.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Record and monitor intercompany transactions in accordance with internal policies.
- Support month-end closing and financial analysis activities.
- Analyze complex accounting issues and provide solutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal clients.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the accounting context and business environment.
- Prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc financial reports.
- Provide analytical and technical assistance to the finance team

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar. US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

- Experience: 2-3 years in month-end close processes for US firms, applying US GAAP (preferred), preparing financial reports, consolidations, cost accounting, and account reconciliations.

- English: Advanced level C1 (both oral & written).

- Digital Tools: SAP 4Hanna and Power BI are a plus. Curiosity and motivation to learn and upskill in data analytics and emerging technologies.

- Softs skills: excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, highly detail oriented, organizational skills, collaborative, capable to follow multiple deadlines, flexibility, adaptability, self-starter, dynamic.
