Job: Materials Purchaser, Purchasing Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Use of Integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Providing all basic and auxiliary materials necessary for the operation of the Ltd. according to the authorized purchasing requirements
- Preparing purchasing decisions taking into account supply chain optimization, quality-delivery performance and price, active participation in purchasing decisions / conducting price negotiations/
- Coordinating and negotiating technical modifications with suppliers
- Conducting market research, localizing procurement sources, handling supplier problems that go beyond the scope of logistics procurement
- Ensuring the timely procurement of new parts for new customer projects
- Preparing price calculations for new customer projects
Requirements:
- Knowledge of English and/or German is essential at negotiation level
- Experience in large-scale procurement of metals, metal parts and fasteners is an advantage
- Experience in procurement or project management logistics, preferably in steel structure manufacturing
- Economics degree with good technical knowledge or technical degree with an economic orientation
- Negotiation experience
- User-level computer skills, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Mobility, flexibility
