Description

Performs a variety of duties for guests of hotel. Answers all inquiries pertaining to hotel service and registration of guest. Responsible for the Hotel Audit balance run nightly, the information compiled and forwarding the information to the accounting department. 

Pay range: $13.50 - 15.00 / hr DOE

• 1Greet public / guests in a personable and professional manner. 
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Check guests in/out of hotel.
• Enter, modify and confirm reservations for guests.
• Issue room keys and collect payment for room.
• Assigns rooms to guests.
• Assist guests with any questions and address concerns.
• Responsible for shift paperwork and Front Desk bank.
• Answer all incoming calls and transfer to correct departments using the PBX Phone system. 
• Communicate with all employees and all shifts and responsible for communicating using radio equipment with Security, Maintenance, Slot Department 
• Records room availability and guest accounts. 
• Settle guest accounts by posting cash, credit cards and direct bills.
• Responsibility of cash drawer.
• Post and adjust changes.
•  Balance all paperwork.
• Set up wake up calls for guests.
•  Run all reports as required: but not limited to; Reservation Master, Housekeeping, checkout, credit limit, group delegates and expected departure reports. 
•  Run Night Audit and enter data into Flash report & Comp Report
• Communication with housekeeping on status of rooms.
• Update communication & maintenance logs.
• Keep work area clean and stocked.
• Drive shuttle as needed.
•  Handle all equipment and materials with care.
•  Employee and guest safety is a daily job requirement-must watch all areas for unsafe conditions. 
• Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain State of Nevada Gaming Card-Gold Country Inn & Casino only
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license to drive the shuttle.
• Must obtain a driving record.
• Be able to read, write and typing skills - Basic Math / English skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Professional image through appearance and conduct. 
• Ability to communicate effectively. 
• Telephone etiquette.
• Ability  to problem solve and handle customer complaints in a professional manner. 
•  Knowledge of computers / office machines.
•  Familiarity with auditing procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works Graveyard shift, including weekend and holidays. Must be able to lift 30 pounds; This position would require a uniform shirt provided by employer.
