Job Summary
The role is responsible for driving production efficiency, output, yield and cost improvements, while working closely with Process, Equipment and Quality teams to optimize overall manufacturing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience in semiconductor, MEMS, electronics, precision or high-volume manufacturing to develop their career in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure output, quality and productivity targets are achieved.
- Identify production bottlenecks and drive improvements in yield, efficiency and manufacturing costs.
- Optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment and materials to support production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with Process, Equipment and Quality teams to implement effective solutions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Train, develop and monitor production operators to ensure effective team performance.
- Support customer audits and ensure production processes comply with relevant requirements and standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of production operations and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in yield improvement, KPI management and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in MEMS, semiconductor or precision manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Salary: Up to RM8k + AWS
