Course: Advanced Nutrition

This advanced-level course delves into the intricate world of macronutrient metabolism, providing students with an in-depth understanding of the physiological processes governing the breakdown, utilization, and regulation of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Through a comprehensive exploration of molecular and cellular mechanisms, participants gain insights into how macronutrients contribute to energy production, cellular functions, and overall metabolic homeostasis.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Doctorate or M.S. - Nutritional Science/Dietetics or Biological or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics
• Minimum: Masters in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Nutritional Science/Dietetics or Biological or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics
