Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight - General Duty in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, parking lots, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, inspections, and shift operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
