Meet the Team

Galileo, now part of Cisco, is building technology to make AI agents more observable, measurable, and resilient in enterprise environments. Our Agent Resilience platform helps organizations understand how AI agents are performing, evaluate their quality through AI-specific metrics, monitor token usage and cost, and apply runtime controls to help agents make safer and more reliable decisions.

Within Cisco, Agent Resilience Team sits at an exciting intersection of AI, observability, security, and infrastructure. Our technology is integrating with platforms such as Splunk AI Observability and has the opportunity to extend across Cisco’s broader portfolio—from applications and AI agents to infrastructure, networking, and security. This creates a unique opportunity to build AI experiences that operate across complex, multi-agent enterprise environments.

You’ll join a fast-moving, collaborative product engineering team that brings together front-end and backend engineers, AI researchers, product managers, and designers. The team owns key areas of Agent Resilience, including observability, AI metrics, tokenomics, budgeting and alerting, and runtime agent control.

Your Impact

As a Frontend Engineer Agent Resilience Team within Galileo at Cisco, you will build the customer-facing experiences that bring complex AI observability, metrics, and agent-control capabilities to life. You’ll translate sophisticated backend and AI capabilities into intuitive enterprise experiences that help customers understand and manage their AI agents.

  • Design and develop scalable, customer-facing web applications and dashboards for agent observability, AI metrics, token usage, budgeting, alerting, and runtime agent control.

  • Collaborate with backend engineers, AI researchers, product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to translate technical capabilities and customer requirements into intuitive product experiences.

  • Build reusable front-end components and integrate with backend APIs to visualize and interact with complex operational, observability, and AI-related data.

  • Develop and maintain automated tests to support reliable feature delivery and contribute to the overall quality, scalability, and maintainability of the product.

  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of front-end engineering practices as the Galileo platform expands across Cisco and Splunk.

Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality customer-facing features while collaborating effectively across disciplines. You will help create experiences that are reliable, scalable, easy to understand, and capable of supporting enterprise customers operating increasingly complex AI environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience developing enterprise-scale frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, or similar technologies.

  • Experience partnering with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA engineers to deliver front-end features throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience writing automated software tests, including unit, integration, or end-to-end testing, using modern front-end testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving front-end software defects or performance issues in production environments.

  • Experience with backend technologies such as Go or Python and working within full-stack engineering environments.

  • Experience developing products or applications involving AI/ML, generative AI, large language models, or AI agents.

  • Experience deploying or operating applications in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud environments.

  • Experience building enterprise products related to observability, monitoring, security, AI, analytics, or data platforms.
