Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Data Insight Analyst, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Essential Functions:
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions that integrate multiple data sources
- Perform advanced data extraction using SQL combined with robust analysis in Excel and visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable, visually engaging insights
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices for data extraction, analysis, and visualization
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of experience (or Master’s degree with minimum of 3 years)
- Expert-level proficiency in leading data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- SQL skills for efficient data extraction and integration across diverse datasets
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
- Experience managing and maintaining SQL databases
- Demonstrated ability to convert complex business challenges into data-driven insights
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Experience to define, track, and visualize business and engineering metrics using advanced BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI
- Expertise in developing and managing ETL processes
- Experience in Python programming for data analysis, manipulation, and automation
- Experience using version control systems such as Gitlab for collaborative development
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
