Why this role exists
We are looking for an Integration Product Specialist to support the successful implementation of our applications across multiple concurrent implementation projects, as we are rolling out our self-service applications across Intrum’s markets. This role acts as the primary interface between product, engineering, and implementation teams, ensuring integrations are efficient, scalable, and do not become a bottleneck. You will be the key contact point for integration-related queries both between our different Group teams (Product, Mulesoft, Data) and for our markets who are active in the project and need to plan and conduct the necessary data and IT development on local side.
Responsibilities
Act as the main contact for integration-related questions
Proactively reach out and keep dialogue open between Group and Local teams
Support local teams’ understanding of integration related work
Identify bottlenecks, recurring issues and drive improvements
Support implementation teams with:
API integrations (REST)
event-driven flows (Confluent Kafka)
data models and system behavior
Analyze and validate payloads and data
Investigate discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes
Support testing and go-live activities
Maintain and improve integration documentation
Identify recurring issues and drive improvements
Filter and escalate relevant issues to development teams
Support multiple parallel implementation projects
Requirements
Experience with system integrations (APIs and/or event-driven systems)
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze integration issues
Strong understanding of data structures and system flows
Experience working with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Ability to query and validate data to investigate integration issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Structured and proactive way of working
Comfortable working in a multi-project environment
