Description
Description
At DoubleTree Rosemont, the front desk is where a smooth hotel experience begins.
We are looking for a Front Desk Supervisor who enjoys taking care of guests, stays calm when the lobby gets busy, and can help a team deliver consistent service shift after shift.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside the front desk team, support daily operations, solve guest concerns, and help make sure the details are handled—from arrival through departure.
Our hotel serves a fast-moving mix of airport travelers, airline crews, convention attendees, business travelers, and leisure guests. Some shifts are steady. Others change quickly. We need someone who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and lead with confidence when the pressure increases.
Requirements
- Lead and support Front Desk operations during assigned shifts.
- Welcome guests with genuine, professional hospitality.
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, guest requests, and hotel information.
- Monitor the front desk and lobby to keep the guest arrival and departure experience running smoothly.
- Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally and take ownership of finding solutions.
- Support Hilton Honors recognition and DoubleTree service standards.
- Help coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Transportation, Security, and other hotel departments.
- Communicate important shift information, guest needs, room issues, and operational updates to the appropriate teams.
- Support and coach Front Desk team members on service standards, procedures, and guest recovery.
- Help train new team members and reinforce expectations through real-time feedback.
- Maintain accurate guest, room, payment, and operational information.
- Follow hotel procedures for guest privacy, cash handling, keys, safety, and security.
- Assist Front Office leadership with daily operational needs and special projects.
- Step into the operation when volume increases—the supervisor is part of the team, not someone watching from the sidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous hotel Front Desk or guest-services experience strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory, lead, or training experience preferred.
- Experience with hotel property-management systems and Hilton systems is a plus.
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
