[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract for a Strategy Lead position in the School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies.The Strategy Lead will provide leadership for ENCORE, NP’s flagship intergenerational hub, driving the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives aligned with its 4E framework (Envision, Experiment, Execute, Enjoy).
Working closely with NP schools, senior professionals, students, and external partners, the incumbent will lead the co-creation of innovative intergenerational programmes, pilot new initiatives, and establish frameworks to measure impact and guide future growth.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-impact centre that bridges education, community, and industry, while supporting meaningful transitions for young senior professionals in the next phase of their careers.
[What you will be working on]
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design, curate and manage ENCORE’s signature programmes and events.
Deliver training and facilitate learning for ENCORE’s senior and intergenerational cohorts. Ability to teach transferable skills such as emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication and collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, and global readiness would be an advantage.
Drive the integration of ENCORE’s intergenerational learning model across NP schools through curriculum innovation, applied learning projects, research collaborations, and student engagement opportunities.
Develop and steward a vibrant community of ENCORE Ambassadors and senior professionals, cultivating meaningful participation, leadership, and peer advocacy.
Forge and manage strategic partnerships across industry, government, community, and educational sectors to co-create and scale high-impact intergenerational initiatives.
Establish impact measurement frameworks, monitor key outcomes, and prepare strategic reports and recommendations for senior management, funders, and external stakeholders.
Lead the planning and delivery of flagship events, showcases, and outreach initiatives that strengthen ENCORE’s profile, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem development.
[What we are looking for]
Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, or a related discipline.
At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in programme development, adult learning, community engagement, innovation, or partnership development, with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building capabilities, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders across the public, private, and people sectors
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with experience in impact measurement, reporting, and change management.
Passion for lifelong learning, purposeful longevity, and intergenerational collaboration, with a commitment to creating innovative opportunities for experienced professionals and communities.
