Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact sales professional with strong experience in CAD/CAE and PLM solutions to drive business growth within a defined territory. The role requires a blend of direct sales expertise and channel partner management, with a deep understanding of the local market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Sales Execution
- Drive revenue growth for simulation solutions across the assigned territory
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Expand footprint within existing strategic accounts through cross-sell and upsell
2. Channel Partner Management
- Manage and grow the partner ecosystem within the territory
- Enable, motivate, and drive partners to achieve sales targets
- Develop joint go-to-market plans and ensure pipeline generation through partners
3. Territory Ownership
- Own and execute the territory strategy with clear account segmentation
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations
- Maintain deep understanding of local market dynamics, competition, and opportunities
4. Customer Engagement & Solution Positioning
- Understand customer requirements and position integrated CAD/CAE solutions
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams for solutioning and demonstrations
- Drive value-based selling and articulate ROI to customers
Key Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in CAD/CAE and PLM domain
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong experience in channel partner management and indirect sales models
- Good understanding of manufacturing/engineering industry segments
- Strong network and familiarity with the assigned territory
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global engineering software organizations
- B.Tech graduate with understanding of R&D processes.
- Exposure to multi-domain solutions (mechanical, electronics, system simulation)
- Ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders
