Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python(Django/FastAPI)

  • Write efficient queries and manage data models in PostgreSQL

  • Work with Redis for caching, queues, and improving service performance

  • Collaborate with frontend and QA engineers to ship end-to-end features

  • Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews

  • Debug and optimize existing services for performance and scale

  • Work with large datasets related to blockchain transactions (exposure to tools like ClickHouse is a plus)

Required Skills

  • Strong fundamentals in Python and object-oriented programming

  • Understanding of Django/FastAPI or any Python web framework

  • Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) — schema design, indexing, query optimization

  • Basic understanding of caching concepts and tools like Redis

  • Understanding of REST API design principles

  • Strong problem-solving and DSA fundamentals (arrays, trees, graphs, hashing)

  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows
