Job Purpose
To support the governance, administration, and lifecycle management of the Bank's IT assets by ensuring accurate asset records, effective inventory control, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to IT Asset Management policies and standards.
Are you someone who can:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date enterprise IT asset register and ensure timely asset tagging and recording.
- Perform regular asset reconciliations between physical inventory, asset management systems and financial records.
- Conduct periodic physical asset verification exercises
- Coordinate IT warehouse operations, including stock control, receiving, issuing, and inventory counts.
- Coordinate warranty, vendor returns and asset refresh programmes.
- Prepare monthly IT Asset Management reports, dashboards, and audit evidence.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring asset records are complete, accurate, and readily available.
- Ensure compliance with Information Technology and IT Asset Management policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and audit recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve ITAM processes, governance, reporting, and automation.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field will be an added advantage.
