The Disney Direct-to-Consumer Studios Creator segment sources, manages, and scales high-quality creators for Disney collaborations and original content for Disney+ globally. This content engine drives global audience growth, engagement, and retention. 

As digital platforms continue to evolve, audiences are increasingly spending time with short-form, creator-led, and alternative media—from podcasts and live streams to emerging content formats—often outside of traditional television and film ecosystems. This role plays a key part in helping Disney evolve alongside consumer behaviors by developing creator partnership strategies that leverage Disney's iconic intellectual property, passionate fan communities, and world-class storytelling to expand audience engagement across Disney+. 

 

JOB SUMMARY 

Disney is seeking an innovative and results-driven Manager, DTC Creator Partnerships to lead the development and execution of creator-led content initiatives for Disney+ globally. This role manages key creator partnership programs and is responsible for developing scalable initiatives that engage creators, talent, and media brands to produce high-performing, short-form content that drives reach, engagement, brand affinity, and business impact. 

The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with operational excellence and has a deep understanding of platform trends, creator culture, and the evolving digital media landscape. They have experience building creator partnerships, developing innovative engagement strategies, and motivating creators of all sizes through partnership models and incentive programs that foster long-term relationships while delivering measurable results. 

This role helps manage Disney's TikTok Creator Program and strategic partnership deliverables, supporting the development of scalable creator content opportunities that contribute to the broader Disney+ creator content pipeline and audience growth. 

As a people leader within the Creator Partnerships organization, the Manager leads and develops a team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and creative excellence. They partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Digital, Content, Programming, Partnerships, Sales, International Partners, and Analytics teams to execute creator initiatives that align with broader Disney+ business objectives. The Manager oversees complex initiatives from strategy through execution, drives operational excellence, and identifies opportunities to scale creator programs, optimize performance, and introduce innovative approaches to creator collaboration. 

Serving as a trusted partner and subject matter expert on creator partnerships, the Manager leverages audience insights, performance data, and industry trends to inform recommendations, influence cross-functional decision-making, and deliver measurable business results. They also contribute to the evolution of creator partnership best practices, helping refine processes and identify new opportunities that support the long-term growth of Disney's creator ecosystem. 

The DTC Creator Partnerships Manager reports to the Director, DTC Creator Partnerships. 

 

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training: 

Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioral attributes and/or leadership capabilities) 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent level of experience. 

• 5+ years of experience in digital media, social content, creator economy and marketing, and content production. 

• 5+ years of people leadership experience. 

• Proven success managing high-volume social content operations. 

• Deep understanding and passion for creator ecosystems and social platforms. 

• Strong analytical skills with experience using content performance data to inform strategy. 

• Experience managing cross-functional creative teams. 

• Experience working directly with creators and talent agencies or management companies. 

• Background in media, entertainment, digital publishing, or creator-focused companies. 

• Experience launching content franchises or creator-led programming. 

• Familiarity with monetization models and creator incentive programs. 

• Deep understanding of internet culture and social trends. 

• Strong creative judgment. 

• Exceptional relationship-building skills. 

• Strategic thinker and data-informed decision maker. 

 

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $105,100 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
