This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California.

Homewood is seeking a Food & Beverage Outlet Stocker to join the Food & Beverage Department.

Job Summary:

The F&B Outlet Stocker will be responsible for loading product onto snowcats, delivering supplies to mountain outlets, and unloading and stocking those outlets to ensure they are fully prepared for daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable operating equipment in a winter mountain environment, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive deliveries, unpack and inspect goods for damage, and verify accuracy against invoices or packing slips.
• Pull and stage food, beverage, and supply orders for each outlet, and load product onto the snowcat accurately and securely for transport.
• Safely ride along on the snowcat to deliver product to designated mountain outlets, following all mountain operations and safety protocols.
• Unload product from the snowcat upon arrival and stock shelves, coolers, and storage areas at each outlet, ensuring items are neatly arranged and accessible to staff.
• Verify delivered quantities against outlet orders or packing slips, and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the F&B Manager or Supervisor.
• Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures to manage perishable items and minimize waste at each outlet.
• Follow an established delivery schedule and route across multiple outlets, adjusting as needed based on outlet needs, weather, or mountain conditions.
• Keep the snowcat cargo area, stockrooms, and outlet storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Dispose of packaging materials and trash appropriately.
• Safely assist with snowcats, pallet jacks, dollies, and carts to move and organize stock.
• Communicate proactively with outlet staff, kitchen teams, and the F&B Manager regarding delivery timing, stock needs, and any issues encountered on route.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper lifting techniques, snowcat operating procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food and beverage operations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-moving environment with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to step into multiple roles as needed.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly based on business levels.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a strong work ethic.

• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required based on business demand.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during high-volume service periods.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing and walking for extended periods, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $21-$25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
