We are looking for a bright and motivated HR Specialist to support and join our Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of administrative tasks in the area of HR, including the maintenance of proper attendance and leaving employees records and assisting the payroll department in daily duties;
• Support HR division in policy formulation and salary administration;
• Working knowledge of labor cost analysis, budgeting, and personnel expense tracking;
• Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries;
• Supporting the development and review of new and existing policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions in the respective area of HR and contributing to the development of HR management systems; 
• Interpreting and applying rules and regulations, and advising colleagues, staff and managers accordingly;
• Providing regular and ad-hoc staff statistics for management and external bodies, such as the European Commission; 
• Support the strategy at the local level and in the adaptation of individual solutions;
• Demonstrated background in overseeing health and safety compliance, including mandatory medical surveillance programs;
• Oversee cross-border mobility and immigration workflows, partnering with legal advisors and local authorities to secure work authorization.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Italian.
• 3+ years of experience in this position.
• Passionate about HR innovation, skill development and particularly interested and active in the innovation of HR practices.
• Proven experience with TeamSystem Time & Attendance software
• Curious person, close to professional business
• Energy, enthusiasm and confidence
• Proven experience managing payroll within an international or cross-border environment.

Translated is hosted at Pi Campus, a working environment immersed in nature where six luxury villas in Rome, Italy, have been converted into functional offices designed to foster talent growth. Pi Campus is also a venture firm created by Translated to reinvest part of its profits into promising AI startups.

Our Offer

We are offering a fixed-term contract. Depending on expertise, the offered salary typically ranges between €28,000 and €35,000. Compensation generally grows quickly as experience leads to greater contributions. Exceptionally strong candidates may be offered salaries above this range to acknowledge their higher potential impact.

We offer a flexible remote work policy, combined with a requirement for periodic presence at our Rome headquarters.
