Downstream Product Manager, Digital Solutions (Hybrid)

What you will do 

As the Downstream Product Manager, Digital Solutions, you will lead the development and commercialization of a new Digital Solutions business within the Trauma portfolio, partnering across the enterprise to shape strategy, drive customer adoption, launch innovative solutions, and establish a scalable foundation for future growth. 

• Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and recommend strategic areas of focus.   

• Develop and execute strategic plans, annual marketing plans, product launch strategies, and customer engagement initiatives that align portfolio objectives with broader business goals.  

• Build deep customer understanding, including buying behaviors, value drivers, unmet needs, satisfaction trends, and perceptions of product attributes, and incorporate insights into strategic planning.  

• Articulate the clinical, technical, and business value of products and portfolios, tailoring messaging to diverse customer audiences and demonstrating how solutions address customer needs.  

• Develop sales tools, communication strategies, and go-to-market plans while partnering with Marketing Communications to ensure messaging aligns with overall marketing objectives.  

• Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish training strategies, support product launches, and ensure commercial alignment across the enterprise.  

• Monitor, analyze, and report portfolio performance, customer engagement metrics, and key business KPIs to leadership and commercial teams.  

• Lead pricing analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize portfolio performance and market competitiveness.  

• Support clinical evidence generation by defining study objectives, evaluating outcomes, and leveraging findings to strengthen value propositions and marketing strategies.  

• Manage product lifecycle activities, including obsolescence planning, to ensure long-term portfolio health and business continuity.  

• Establish short- and long-term improvement goals for the product management function and develop action plans to drive execution and continuous improvement.  

• Collaborate with market intelligence teams to define research priorities, generate actionable customer insights, and strengthen strategic decision-making. 

What you need 

Required 

• Bachelor’s Degree 

• 4+ years of work experience  

Preferred 

• 2+ years of digital solutions experience, specifically in Orthopedics 

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) 

• Experience working within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
