Per Diem Physician Assistant - Interventional Cardiology

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital provides world-renowned interventional cardiovascular care for all patients with heart diseases and disorder. Our cardiac service brings together a multi-disciplinary panel of specialists who provide a range of services from screening and diagnostic procedures to emergency and ongoing treatment. Our interventional cardiology PAs provide pre/post-op evaluation for cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology, inpatient consults and follow up including device interrogation, and pre-arrival telehealth evaluations.

The department seeks per diem PAs for weekday shifts only, 13-hour shifts, Monday – Friday, for at least 2-3 shifts per month.  

 

Preferred Criteria

-Must have cath lab or EP lab experience

 

Required Criteria

-Bachelor’s or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies

-NYS PA Licensure

-Current NCCPA Certification

-ACLS/BLS

-NYS Infection Control certification

-DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
