Forex Account Officer
Davao | Hybrid | Monday - Friday | Dayshift
key responsibilities
- Proactively identify, generate, and convert new lead opportunities while driving sales growth across assigned foreign exchange accounts.
- Present, promote, and sell comprehensive FX products and financial services to prospective and existing clients.
- Negotiate competitive foreign exchange pricing, structure favorable trade terms, and execute transaction bookings accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure full, strict compliance with internal operational policies, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, and national financial regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high client satisfaction through dedicated account management, timely issue resolution, and exceptional customer service.
- Monitor, track, and regularly report on individual sales performance, pipeline activity, and emerging market trends to management.
- Conduct product presentations and educational sessions for clients and partners to drive product awareness and adoption.
- Coordinate closely with internal units—including Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Treasury—to ensure smooth, seamless service delivery.
qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field).
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of Sales experience in the banking industry, commercial FX operations, or a related financial services field.
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange transaction mechanics, financial products, and regulatory standards.
- Proven track record in lead generation, consultative selling, client acquisition, and account management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in handling CRM tools, spreadsheet software, and office applications.
