Block 23What you'll do:
As the Senior Manager – Infrastructure and Operations Technology Products, you will provide senior-level people and delivery leadership for complex technology products and services across multiple teams and domains. You will translate enterprise and business priorities into actionable roadmaps, operating plans, and measurable outcomes; coordinate execution across Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Security, Risk, business teams, strategic partners, and third-party providers; and ensure reliable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective delivery. This role establishes management discipline, develops talent, removes impediments, manages risks and dependencies, and communicates performance, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.The Sr Manager - Infrastructure and Ops Technology Products is accountable for the roadmaps, delivery, operational performance, and governance of assigned Infrastructure and Operations technology products and platform capabilities, including enterprise data platform services. The role directly manages Product Managers and other assigned staff while providing matrixed leadership across delivery teams. It partners with technology, business, and control stakeholders to prioritize demand, manage investments and dependencies, and deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and compliant capabilities that support enterprise business needs.
- Lead roadmap development and execution for assigned Infrastructure and Operations technology products and platform capabilities within established enterprise strategy, architecture, and funding parameters.
- Manage, coach, and develop Product Managers/Business Associates and assigned staff; establish performance expectations, clarify decision rights, allocate resources, and support succession and retention planning.
- Establish product management operating rhythms for intake, prioritization, business case development, quarterly planning, roadmap review, and outcome measurement.
- Align platform investments and capacity with business priorities, architecture standards, security requirements, data governance expectations, and operational needs.
- Communicate roadmap progress, delivery health, trade-offs, risks, decisions, and measurable results to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Own delivery and operational outcomes for assigned Infrastructure and Operations technology product initiatives and services, including scope, schedule, quality, adoption, reliability, and value realization
- Coordinate product backlogs, quarterly planning, delivery sequencing, capacity, and resource commitments across Product Managers and matrixed delivery teams.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations leaders to manage dependencies, risks, release readiness, production transition, service health, and issue resolution.
- Apply consistent product and delivery practices, including discovery, requirements quality, prioritization, acceptance criteria, success measures, post-launch tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering to implement platform standards, reference patterns, and modernization plans within assigned scope.
- Ensure assigned platform products and services comply with security, privacy, risk management, data governance, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor platform maturity, reliability, service health, and capability gaps; coordinate remediation and recommend investment actions.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for technology decisions that balance innovation, resilience, cost, and control
- Support annual budget and operating-plan development; manage approved budgets, forecasts, spend, capacity, and financial controls for assigned products and services.
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations based on business value, risk, resilience, capacity, cost, and strategic alignment
- Manage vendor and strategic-partner performance within assigned scope, including service commitments, financial accountability, risks, and improvement actions.
- Lead assigned employees and matrixed contributors across multiple domains working on complex technology products and services; maintain clear accountability, operating procedures, controls, support documentation, and escalation paths.
- Manage employee development, engagement, retention, resource allocation, talent planning, performance management, recruiting, coaching, and training.
- Serve as the primary management contact for business, technology, and control partners across assigned Infrastructure and Operations technology products and platform capabilities.
- Translate business, customer, regulatory, and enterprise priorities into product requirements, roadmap recommendations, delivery plans, and operating commitments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, adoption activities, escalations, delivery risks, and investment trade-off recommendations within assigned authority; elevate enterprise-level decisions as appropriate.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of related experience in technology product management, enterprise platforms, data platforms, engineering, delivery, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, resource planning, and development of managers or senior professionals.
- Advanced experience managing complex technology products, services, portfolios, or delivery functions across multiple teams, with accountability for roadmaps, budgets, KPIs, risks, and timelines.
- Proven track record pf building and leading high performing teams though strong business acumen and a strategic mindset
- Advanced knowledge of product management practices, roadmap governance, backlog prioritization, value-based planning, Agile delivery, and platform operating models.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-based data and analytics platforms, enterprise architecture, service management, security, data governance, and operational reliability concepts.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal, risk, and cybersecurity obligations, industry standards, and control practices.
- Advanced ability to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, develop recommendations, and communicate decisions and outcomes to senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Advanced verbal and written communication, influence, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Advanced experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
- Deep experience leading Product Managers or product organizations supporting enterprise platforms, data platforms, or platform services.
- Previous experience with enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata, security, and privacy practices.
- Experience supporting transformation, modernization, or operating model change in a matrixed environment.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
