Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for consulting with leadership within the organization to attract and hire top talent. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a significant role in finding, attracting, and hiring top talent for the various practice and administrative groups in the Louisville area. This position exists to deliver high level customer service to staff, management, vendors and applicants. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide a variety of human resource services and coordinate the timely, efficient and effective delivery of human resource programs.
Essential Functions:
- Represent HR as a “single point of contact” for staff and leaders in the areas of staffing, selection, and onboarding
- Develop, track, and communicate key metrics and measurement tools to track recruiting/staffing performance versus objectives and recommend solutions
- Track compliance with required processes (Applicant tracking, assessments, background, I-9, and other pre-hire documents) and ensure necessary onboarding has occurred
- Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders, HR and Administrative Departments to provide continuity of services, implement HR and institutional initiatives and ensure stakeholder needs are met with regard to service delivery
- General Orientation preparation and facilitation
- Ensuring new hire data is entered correctly into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in a timely manner
- Consult with HR Business Partners as needed on employee relations matters
- Partner with executive leadership on interview strategies, interviewing top candidates, and selection
- Develop departmental recruiting strategies to include advertising, candidate sourcing, screening and selection
- Advise leadership in wage and salary administration and the development of job descriptions
Other Functions:
- Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions at all time
- Stays up to date on HR related trends, best practices and regulatory topics
- Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct

Additional Job Description:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- At least one year of recruiting experience (preferred)
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
