Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Accountant for Intercompany Team
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for business units on monthly, quarterly and year end basis
Manage operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area
Ensure close dialogue with Business units in Europe and North America
Support internal and external audits for business units.
Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:
University degree with Accounting specialization is preferred
Solid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process will be considered as an advantage
Ability to work in a changing environment
Good computer skills and general accounting system background. Excel skills at Advanced user level is an advantage
Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders;
University degree with Accounting specialization is preferred
Solid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment
ACCA certificate or started ACCA studies is considered as an asset.
