Remote Behavioral Health Recruiter

1099 Contract | Remote | $25/hour

Behind every application is a person considering where they want to do meaningful work. You’ll be their first connection to our team. We’re looking for a recruiter who listens well, communicates with care, and helps us find the right people for the adolescents and adults we serve.

You’ll manage recruiting for clinical, operational, and support positions. Your initial portfolio will include approximately 10 open roles, with three or four prioritized for active sourcing each week.

What you’ll do

• Source and screen candidates for experience, qualifications, and role fit.
• Manage the hiring process from first contact through interviews, references, and offer.
• Schedule virtual and in person interviews and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
• Help hiring managers use our interview guides and scorecards, prepare for interviews, and document feedback.
• Partner with managers to review candidates and move hiring decisions forward.
• Keep candidate records current in Breezy HR and build pipelines for recurring roles.
• Hand off accepted candidates to the onboarding team.

What you’ll bring

Required

• At least two years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruiting.
• Experience recruiting in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or a closely related clinical setting.
• Experience working independently and responsively in a remote role.
• Strong candidate communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system.

Preferred

• Florida residency and familiarity with Florida clinical qualifications and licensure.
• Experience with Topgrading or another structured interview framework.
• Previous contract work or experience managing a flexible portfolio of searches.
• Experience recruiting for adolescent programs or PHP/IOP services.
