WRS Health is supporting our client, ENT Specialty Care, to hire a full time Audiologist.  ENT Specialty Care is a full-service Otolaryngology practice located in Goshen, NY. In addition to General Otolaryngology, we focus on the care of patients with sinus and allergy disease.

Job Purpose and Role

ENT Specialty Care is hiring a dedicated Medical Assistant who will play a crucial role in enhancing patients' experiences and relationships with our practice. As an integral part of our team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the seamless operation of our medical office. In this role, you will assist doctors and patients with tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage patient intake and maintain a professional waiting room
• Interview patients and document their basic medical history
• Manage multiple schedules for several physicians
• Answer a multi-line phone system
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance; verify insurance and prior authorizations
• Conduct chart checks to ensure all applicable test results and imaging are available before patient appointments
• Ensure medical documents are complete and accurate
• Assist during medical examinations and provide helpful, supportive assistance to patients and physicians
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Perform other activities that promote efficient operations of the medical office

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or medical secretary in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and healthcare regulations
• Empathetic and patient-centric approach to customer service
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Strong social perceptiveness and service orientation

Location: Goshen, NY
Full Time: Monday- Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST)

Benefits

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $50,000 - 60,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
