ICT Project Manager

Mission Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager for a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. In this role, you will take responsibility for the preparation, management, and successful realization of large and complex projects within the healthcare sector. This position offers the opportunity to work on dynamic projects that will enhance your professional development and provide broad learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple large and complex projects.
• Apply professional project methodologies and translate them pragmatically to the concrete work environment.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and concrete execution plans.
• Establish realistic planning and monitor timing, budget, quality, resources, dependencies, and risks.
• Ensure clear project governance with defined roles, responsibilities, decision-making structures, and escalation paths.
• Maintain coherence between your projects and other projects in the organization, in close contact with the program manager.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies in a timely manner and take initiative to manage them.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure alignment of technical, operational, and organizational interests.
• Organize and facilitate steering groups and project meetings to ensure efficient decision-making.

Stakeholder Management and Decision Making:

• Navigate a complex stakeholder environment and connect various interests.
• Build strong working relationships with management, technical experts, project teams, clients, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure clear, transparent, and goal-oriented communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advise stakeholders on progress, risks, feasibility, budget, resources, and impact.
• Ensure that the program manager, sponsors, and steering groups have timely access to accurate information for informed decision-making.
• Create support for decisions and changes, engaging stakeholders at various levels.
• Monitor agreements and ensure that decisions are translated into action and results.

Reporting and Control:

• Provide objective and up-to-date reporting on scope, planning, budget, quality, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Monitor progress using clear KPIs, milestones, and deliverables.
• Signal deviations promptly and formulate concrete proposals for adjustments.
• Document and follow up on decision-making, responsibilities, actions, and changes accurately.
• Ensure that projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and agreed business results, in collaboration with the program manager.

Education and Technical Background:

• Higher education at Bachelor or Master level with a technical or engineering background, or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Proven experience in technical environments where complex projects and programs are realized.
• Understand the dynamics and complexity of development projects and collaborate effectively with technical specialists and other disciplines.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in leading development projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading projects within large and complex programs.
• Extensive experience with multidisciplinary project teams, complex stakeholder structures, and projects with multiple interdependencies.
• Experience within a PMO, portfolio, or program organization is a significant asset.

Project Management Expertise:

• Expert knowledge of terminology, organization, roles, governance, and processes within recognized PM methodologies, such as PRINCE2. Certification is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of other methodologies and frameworks such as PMBOK/PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe is a plus.
• Ability to not only apply methodologies but also transfer expertise and guide others in this area.
• Combine methodological discipline with pragmatism: the methodology supports the result and is not an end in itself.

Languages:

• Excellent professional knowledge (native language) of Dutch.
• Good knowledge of English.

In summary, we are looking for a senior project leader who masters complex trajectories, connects stakeholders, and ensures that strategy is effectively translated into results.

Practical Information:

Work location: office in Zwijnaarde. We offer flexible working hours and remote work options. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will work two fixed days in the office, but the other days can be chosen freely. You are willing to travel to other locations in Flanders and Brussels if necessary.
