Program Overview

GDIT delivers critical all‑source intelligence on foreign military and civilian cyber actors, their supporting infrastructure, and the broader ecosystems in which these capabilities operate. This intelligence directly supports foundational military intelligence (FMI) requirements for the joint force and ensures alignment with the mission portfolios.

On this program, GDIT provides a broad range of analytic and mission‑enabling support to produce operationally relevant FMI and scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) for cyberspace operations. Our support is not limited to analysis; we engage across the entire intelligence cycle—planning, collection, processing, exploitation, production, and dissemination—while also executing integrated mission management functions.

All support is focused on enhancing the customers’ ability to enable both defensive and offensive cyberspace operations.

Position Overview

Cyber All‑Source Intelligence Analyst

The Cyber All‑Source Intelligence Analyst provides on‑site functional and technical intelligence support to the Intelligence Center. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and producing comprehensive all‑source intelligence on foreign national cyber military capabilities (MILCAP) and foreign use of the cyberspace domain.

The analyst applies established DIA tradecraft, SOPs, and Intelligence Community standards (including ICDs 203 and 206) to deliver high‑quality assessments on foreign cyber strategies, doctrine, capabilities, infrastructure, and vulnerabilities. This position directly supports U.S. national decision makers and Combatant Commands (CCMDs) by producing finished intelligence and maintaining robust intelligence databases that inform operational planning, policy decisions, and broader DoD mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site analytic and technical support for the collection, analysis, and production of all‑source intelligence related to foreign cyber MILCAP and cyber domain usage in accordance with DIA cyber tradecraft and IC standards.

• Apply a wide range of analytic skills to assess foreign cyberspace developments, including strategy, doctrine, intent, capabilities, operations, services, infrastructure, and vulnerabilities.

• Produce finished intelligence assessments and database entries supporting national‑level leadership and CCMD operational planning requirements.

• Research, analyze, and develop all‑source intelligence on foreign military cyberspace organizations, systems, processes, and technologies.

• Analyze foreign cyber units and organizations conducting cyber operations, including:

• Placing foreign cyber domain use in context with other operational domains and methods.

• Identifying critical foreign network activities that cannot be readily replaced if disrupted.

• Assessing cyber means, methods, tools, and access types used by state and non‑state actors supporting key functional areas (e.g., logistics, leadership, weapons, finance, recruitment, propaganda).

• Evaluating the full range of foreign cyber capabilities, including strategy, doctrine, intent, and both remote and physical cyber access methods.

• Assessing the ability of foreign governments to identify, track, and disrupt Internet activities of state and non‑state actors within their borders.

• Provide analytic insights into foreign cyber tools such as botnets, intrusion capabilities, remote access mechanisms, air‑gap tools, and supply chain access methods.

• Support the development and production of all‑source cyber infrastructure intelligence.

• Maintain analytic rigor and compliance with DIA ADO, FPA standards, ICD 203/206 sourcing requirements, and DIA tradecraft policies.

Education and Required Experience

• Master’s degree with 12 years related experience or Bachelor’s degree with 17 years’ experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
