Greenskeeper

Maintains the grounds of golf course and prepared for play, performs routine manual labor in-volved in maintaining golf course, operates and maintains small power tools, and uses large equipment such as tractors, loaders, and mowers to perform duties.  The list is not intended to be all-inclusive nor exclusive but is intended to provide examples of typical duties performed.

• Maintains all aspects of golf course and grounds by using required skills and equipment.
• Follows all applicable safety procedures and laws when using equipment and chemicals.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with others.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Prior related experience and/or training preferred.

Certificates and Licenses: 
Valid Alabama Driver’s license required.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability: 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: 
To perform this job successfully, the individual should be proficient in relevant technology and software applications required for the position. Supervisory Responsibilities:
