Position Summary
ITT Aerospace Controls, headquartered in Valencia, Calif., provides fuel management, actuation, noise abatement and vibration isolation components to the aerospace industry and customized and standard products for precision motion control, energy absorption and vibration isolation for industrial end markets.

The warehousing specialist will fulfill customers’ sales orders through the shipping and receiving operation. Warehousing Specialist will diligently audit shipping documentation for accuracy and verify quantity for each order.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process domestic and international shipments by accurately packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Verify shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and carrier requirements, to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate shipments through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and freight providers, while maintaining shipment records in the ERP system.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Visually inspect and count materials to verify quality, quantity, and transaction accuracy before shipment or storage.
- Serve as a backup for receiving operations by receiving inbound materials, verifying documentation, inspecting shipments, and processing receipts in the ERP system.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to company safety procedures.
- Cross-train and provide support to other warehouse and operations functions as business needs require.
- Support overtime, extended hours, and occasional Saturday work to meet customer and operational requirements.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience, with a strong emphasis on shipping operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience preparing shipments through parcel and freight carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems with experience performing shipping, receiving, inventory, and material transaction activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, and packing slips,
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely up to 35 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
