Description
We're Jello. We run paid social for a small group of brands we actually believe in — we're a Meta and Google Premier Partner, and we've put more than $50M through ad accounts learning what makes people stop, click, and convert. We work with a handful of partners at a time, so there's nowhere to hide: every campaign has to perform. We're looking for a Performance video-editor with experience on USA market. You know what's in the Meta ad library and on TikTok _this_ week, not last quarter. You want the harder brief. A quiet role where nothing changes would bore you.
## Tasks
- Turn briefs from the creative lead - an angle, a hook, a product, sometimes a reference ad - into finished ads.
- Hit a weekly target of new concepts and hook variations, agreed with you in week one. Concepts and variations count separately, so you're never asked for 40 versions of one idea.
- Cut from real footage (creator UGC, product shots, gallery images) and, increasingly, from nothing — an AI presenter, a generated scene, a synthetic voice. If you only want to cut filmed footage, this isn't the role.
- Work alongside our own creative-generation tool (in build — image now, video next) and tell the team what's wrong with its output.
## Requirements
- AI-first. You research what's selling, write the prompts, direct the tools, and get an ad out of them that makes people buy — and you spot fake-looking output before anyone else does.
- Two or more of these in regular use, with an opinion on which wins for what: Veo 3, Kling 3, Seedance, Runway, Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, Midjourney, ElevenLabs.
- 2+ years cutting direct-response ads for Meta. We want links, not a CV.
- Premiere or DaVinci at speed; CapCut for trend formats.
- English that a US shopper reads as native - hooks, captions, and a script when the brief only gives you an angle.
- Conversational English is mandatory
- Based in the EU timezone, with 4+ hours a day overlapping UK time. Async the rest.
