Job Description

• Leads import & export customs clearance activities. Ensures the accuracy and readiness of shipping documents, import permit, certificates of origin, other required documents, and duty payment.

• Acts as export control secretariate for Nissan Thailand group, dealing with Nissan Global Team and communicates export control regulations to internal stakeholder

• Manages Free Zone inventory control & lead Customs physical inventory audit readiness. Ensures full compliance with Free Zone regulation.

• Identifies opportunity for process improvement, business process re-engineering or cost savings in duties, tariffs and daily operations.

• Coordinates customs clearance procedures with customs brokers and relevant authorities

• FTA management (regulatory, accuracy, dealing with oversea suppliers, Thai Ministry of Commerce for import/export.)

• Collaborates with internal departments on transaction reviews, Customs strategy advisory and risk mitigation.

• Controls and manages tax compensation to achieve Nissan KPIs. Deals with TH customs and customs broker

• Billing Management – Validates, reviews and reconciles Customs broker’s billings before approval by superior level.

• Monitors Customs broker KPIs, monthly reports and proper retention management.

• Ensures work completion and smooth operation with minimize impact/penalties.

• Supports leadership on a regulatory analysis for project implementation.

• Performs other ad hoc assignment or supports all necessary Customs activities (If any).

 

Qualifications

• Good command in English communication (Writing, Reading, Speaking).

• Strong communication, problem solving, and compliance-oriented mindset.

• Positive attitude, ambitious, initiative learning ability.

• Team spirit, excellent communication, and coordination skills

• Ability to mange teams, work under pressure and multi-tasking

• System familiar and capable in Microsoft Office skill (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, especially Free Zone and BOI.

• Good knowledge of customs, incoterms, tax privileges (FTA, Tax Compensation, BOI, BIS29), TISI and others related regulations.

• Good knowledge of export control regulation

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Administration or related field.

• At least 5 years working experience in import/export operations (Preferable experience in automotive fields)
