Role summary:
The Associate Merchant - Appliances plays a vital role in supporting category management through supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. This position collaborates cross-functionally to enhance customer experience by ensuring accurate product content and executing communication programs. The role involves data analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and promotional activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The Associate Merchant contributes to category strategy implementation and operational excellence by applying business insights and best practices to meet organizational goals and deliver value to customers.
About the team:
The team is dedicated to supporting Large Appliance customers by managing supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and ensuring accurate product setup across channels. They collaborate closely with merchants and vendors to resolve issues, execute category strategies, and enhance customer experiences. Utilizing data analysis and market insights, the team drives informed decisions on pricing, promotions, and inventory. Focused on operational excellence, they support store and online activities while maintaining strong communication and partnership with stakeholders to deliver consistent value and meet organizational goals.
What you'll do:

• Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories.
• Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels.
• Own execution of customer communication and education programs, ensuring accuracy of product page content and adherence to taxonomy guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support category features, modular assortment implementation, and promotional activities.
• Utilize data analysis tools to generate reports, track category performance, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Support item setup decisions and sample management processes for imagery and product configuration.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
