Job Description:
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key financial and business drivers affecting results.
- Prepare and maintain financial models, forecasts, management reports, and dashboards.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, accruals, profitability, and other key financial metrics.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting processes.
- Prepare, review, and distribute recurring financial and operational reports.
- Extract, validate, and analyze data from financial reporting systems and data warehouses.
- Support fee, billing, invoice, and revenue-related activities, including fee analysis, accrual reviews, reconciliations, and expense recovery calculations.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Pricing, Fund Operations, Reporting & Analytics, and other business stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytical requirements.
- Support surveys, benchmarking exercises, RFP requests, and ad hoc analysis as required.
- Maintain and continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Accounting, or related Finance functions.
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or a similar industry is preferred.
Technical Competencies
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with SAP, AFO, Tableau, Power BI, Access, or similar financial reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Knowledge of billing, fee analysis, invoicing, accruals, and financial operations processes is an asset.
