Description
SUMMARY: This is a non-skiing/non-snowboarding position. Serves customer of restaurant by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Accurately operate cash register, receive payment and return change.
2. Notifies kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders.
3. Fills food and beverage orders.
4. Abides with ABC rules regarding customer identification, consumption and service.
5. Prepares and submits required accounting paperwork at close of shift.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Due to the many variables that affect Winter resort operations, such as weather and number of guests, occasionally employees may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility as needed, including performing in any food and beverage position qualified for.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMAND LEVEL: 1 – LOW
The physical and environmental demand level as described in Level 1 (LOW) are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a Winter Resort Area. It requires that work venues are varied and in many cases include steep stairways, multi-level buildings and outdoor work areas, subject to very cold, sometimes wet or very sunny work sites. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Work days and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
