Our client is a well-known technology firm and they are seeking for a GM of ERP & IT Delivery leader to shape the enterprise application strategy, modernizing core technology platforms, and ensuring reliable, business-aligned delivery across the organization.
About the role
The successful individual will operate as a strategic partner to senior business leaders while maintaining strong ownership of execution: translating business priorities into a practical technology roadmap, leading major transformation programmes, and building a high-performing applications and delivery organization. This is an opportunity for a proven IT leader to influence enterprise-wide change, strengthen operating resilience, and create measurable value through technology, data, process improvement, and modern delivery practices. As a GM, you will drive their P&L, manage a sizeable delivery team and execute the enterprise applications strategy and multi-year technology delivery roadmap, aligned to corporate strategy, growth priorities, risk management, and operational needs. You will also lead the full enterprise applications portfolio, including the lifecycle management, enhancement, integration, support, and optimization of critical business systems. Lastly, own the IT delivery agenda across strategic programmes, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, appropriately governed, and capable of delivering measurable business outcomes.
The successful candidate
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including substantial leadership responsibility across enterprise applications, transformation, technology delivery, or IT operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications are beneficial.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide application platforms such as ERP and demonstrable record of delivering complex transformation, platform-modernization
- Strong programme and portfolio management experience, with the ability to govern multiple concurrent initiatives across differing levels of complexity and business criticality.
- Experience managing sizeable internal teams and external technology partners, including system integrators, software vendors, managed-service providers, and consultants.
- Strong executive stakeholder-management skills, with the credibility to influence senior leaders and challenge constructively where required.
- Experience operating in a structured, regulated, customer-facing, asset-intensive, or operationally complex organisation would be advantageous.
