Let CLS place YOU on the hook with excellent job opportunities, allowing your skills to be showcased in front of industry-leading firms.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform underwater installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of various structures and equipmentUtilize diving gear and other provided tools effectively, ensuring all operations adhere to safety protocolsWork closely with other dive team members to plan diving operations in accordance with project demandsEnsure clear communication with dive team and surface personnel during all dive operationsOperate sonar equipment and other electronic devices for underwater detection and navigationConduct pre and post-dive checks of all equipment and gearReport the status of the projects to superiors, documenting all tasks completed and any anomalies encounteredStay updated with the latest diving techniques, technology, and safety protocolsEngage in salvage operations using the proper techniques and toolsAttend regular training sessions and certification programs to maintain and enhance diving skillsAssist in the research and evaluation of job locations, potential hazards, and project requirementsRequirementsProven experience and proficiency as a Commercial DiverValid Driver’s LicenseCurrent TWIC card (front & back)Valid PassportActive IMCA/DCBC/ADCI CardGraduate of an ADCI/ADCE Approved Dive SchoolRigging certification as per API RP 2D 7th edition (8hr course or 2day course)First Aid, CPR, and O2 Administration CertificationSafe Gulf, PEC, or RIG PASS CertificationWater Survival, T-HUET, BOSIET, or FOET CertificationExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in relevant field will be advantageousAbility to work effectively in teams and independentlyPhysical fitness and comfort working in various weather and underwater conditions
