Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Senior Finance Solutions Specialist for a hybrid opportunity focused on enterprise financial systems, finance processes and technology solutions. This is a senior techno-functional position for someone who can work hands-on with technology while also partnering effectively with business and senior stakeholders.

This is not a people-management-only position. The successful candidate must be able to work directly with technical solutions, understand complex finance and accounting processes, troubleshoot issues, contribute to solution delivery and communicate technical concepts clearly to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

HYBRID LOCATIONS
The position follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in office and 2 days remote. Target locations include:

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Finance Solutions Specialist serves as a techno-functional bridge between finance, business and technology. The role supports the evolution, integration and management of enterprise financial management / ERP and professional services automation solutions through solution architecture, technical support, application administration, stakeholder engagement and delivery.

The position requires someone who can operate with a high degree of expertise and autonomy, understand financial processes such as revenue recognition, billing, invoicing, time entry, WIP and backlog reporting, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

FINANCE & ERP SOLUTIONS
• Partner With Business, Finance And Technical Teams To Assess Requirements
• Estimate Solution Complexity
• Translate Business Needs Into Clear User Stories And Acceptance Criteria
• Support Enterprise Financial Management / ERP Solutions
• Apply Knowledge Of Revenue Recognition, Billing And Invoicing Processes
• Support Time Entry, WIP And Backlog Reporting Processes
• Support Month-End Close Related Finance Processes

SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE & DELIVERY
• Perform Fit-Gap Analysis
• Advise Stakeholders On Functionality, Costs And Risks
• Define And Oversee Technical Solution Architectures
• Support API And Data Integrations
• Guide Development And Troubleshooting Activities
• Help Ensure High-Quality Technical Delivery
• Deliver Technical Solutions In Agile Scrum / SAFe Environments

APPLICATION SUPPORT & ADMINISTRATION
• Provide Advanced Technical Support
• Monitor Application Performance
• Troubleshoot Technical And Functional Issues
• Implement System Enhancements

• Support Compliance With IT Controls And Security Policies

Requirements

• Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field REQUIRED
• Proven Expertise In Accounting Processes Including Time Entry, Revenue Recognition, WIP And Backlog Reporting REQUIRED
• Full Professional Proficiency In Written And Spoken English REQUIRED
• Experience Partnering With Business Stakeholders And Delivering Technical Solutions In Agile Scrum / SAFe Environments REQUIRED
• Familiarity With Project Management And Delivery Tools Such As ServiceNow, Jira Or Azure DevOps REQUIRED
• Ability To Work Hands-On With Technical Solutions Rather Than Functioning Solely In A People-Management Or Oversight Capacity REQUIRED
• Strong Techno-Functional Ability Across Finance And Technology REQUIRED

PREFERRED
• 3-4 Years Of Certinia PSA Or Accounting ERP Experience - Strongly Desired
• Salesforce Platform Experience
• Enterprise Finance / ERP Knowledge
• Billing And Revenue Recognition Experience
• Month-End Close Exposure
• Deep Knowledge Of Certinia ERP / PSA Modules
• Project Accounting And Resource Management Experience
• Financials, Time / Expense And Billing Experience
