The Role
The Telemetry Quality Lead/ Night Shift is responsible for assessing and improving quality across the telemetry service line. The Telemetry Quality Lead/ Night Shift will also be responsible for initial and ongoing evaluations of telemetry technician’s competencies, developing and deploying a continuous education curriculum, and conducting root cause analysis/remediation for events that require investigation.
You Will
- Manage technicians on shift for assigned shift.
- Enforce company policies and operational procedures.
- Helping maintain smooth and consistent operations when Team Leads are unavailable.
- Has an expert understanding of all aspects of the telemetry service including rhythm identification and interpretation, annotation, workflows, and specific client expectations for telemetry accounts.
- Developing, implementing, and managing a quality improvement program that includes:
- Auditing of technician performance.
- Initial and continuous education.
- Setting and assessing quality KPIs and a recurring basis.
- Event investigations/discoveries.
- Other activities as assigned
- Assessing and triaging issues and/or events to resolution across all telemetry accounts and teams.
- Assessing the performance of telemetry technicians.
- Assist in other operational projects
- Providing guidance and support to staff across all teams.
- Supporting Senior Team Lead on various telemetry initiatives as identified.
- Core working hours (7pm-3 am) weeknight business hours to include weekends, plus additional time as needed to engage with a 24/7 team and operation. Flexibility to attend management meetings as required.
- Expert understanding of cardiac rhythms and identification of life-threatening arrhythmia.
- Creative operational thinker that is interested in improving the way telemetry services are delivered.
- Ability to build relationships with telemetry technicians across multiple geographies, time zones and shifts.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma
- 4+ years of Telemetry/Monitoring experience, or approved allied health degree
- Must attend the Company’s Telemetry training; pass the competency exam;
- Demonstrate telemetry knowledge and competency, and pass and obtain CRAT certification or both CRAT and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 1 month of hire.
- Core working hours (7pm-3 am) weeknight business hours to include weekends, plus additional time as needed to engage with a 24/7 team and operation. Flexibility to attend management meetings as required.
