Description
Gymnastics Assistants help coach youth gymnastics lessons and assist in maintaining a safe environment for participants.
- Assist gymnastics instructors and coordinator with implementation of youth gymnastics program curriculum.
- Participate in mandatory trainings; workshops; and meetings
- Provide a safe environment for participants; follow safety guidelines and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Be familiar with gymnastics teaching methods; skills; drills; and games.
- Demonstrate skills for participants and provide feedback on skills.
- Maintain a positive relationship with and effectively communicate with co-workers.
- Properly set up and take down gymnastics equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communicate with patrons and parents in a professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be at least 14 years of age and successfully complete the New Brighton Gymnastics Junior Coach Program or equivalent.
- FA/CPR/AED Certification within six months of hire
