The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Adjacencies is responsible for developing, managing and optimizing Radiometer’s global external partnership ecosystem that support portfolio growth, innovation and expansion into adjacent opportunities.

The role serves as Radiometer’s central point of coordination for strategic collaborations across diagnostics, digital health, and adjacent spaces, while ensuring strong governance, performance management, and value realization. Acting as the central interface between external partners and internal stakeholders, the Senior Manager enables seamless cross-functional integration and translates partnerships into scalable business impact. Through open innovation, structured partnership models, and continuous performance optimization, the role contributes  partnership and ecosystem insights that support portfolio decision-making and long-term growth priorities.

This role is focused on partnership enablement and value creation through external collaborations. The position concentrates on establishing strong partnership frameworks, governance, and ways of working that support the broader organization. The Senior Manager works in close collaboration with internal teams to ensure partnerships are effectively structured, managed, and deliver intended outcomes. This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional exposure and influence through partnership excellence.

This position reports to the Director, Strategic Portfolio & Innovation Management and is part of the Global Product & Portfolio Management team. The role is anchored at Radiometer’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark; other relevant European locations may be considered with regular travel to Denmark.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and optimize a portfolio of strategic external partnerships across diagnostics, digital health, workflow solutions, and adjacent healthcare areas, ensuring strong performance, governance, and value realization

  • Act as the partnership operating model owner by defining ways of working, KPIs, business review cadence, escalation routes, and decision inputs for key collaborations

  • Connect external opportunities to portfolio and innovation priorities, ensuring strong linkage between partner activities, pre-TG0 opportunity maturation, strategic portfolio choices, and future growth spaces

  • Build and maintain a targeted external innovation ecosystem, engaging with technology companies, startups, research institutions, and selected Danaher network opportunities in close collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Serve as the primary interface for selected external partners, creating alignment across R&D, Product Management, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Operations, and regional stakeholders

  • Support partnership setup and lifecycle management, including opportunity evaluation, business case input, agreement structuring, contract support, launch readiness handoffs, and ongoing performance reviews

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience

  • Significant experience managing strategic partnerships, alliances, collaborations, business development opportunities, or external ecosystem relationships in a global setting

  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, or related life science environments is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work across matrixed organizations and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess strategic fit, value potential, risks, assumptions, and growth contribution of partnership opportunities

  • Experience establishing governance mechanisms, performance metrics, decision forums, and partnership operating models

Key success criteria in the first 6 months:

  • Establish a clear partnership operating model, including governance cadence, KPIs, escalation paths, and stakeholder interfaces

  • Create an initial view of the partnership landscape, including strategic fit, value potential, risks, priorities, and recommendations

  • Strengthen handoffs between external partnerships, innovation funnel activities, portfolio decisions, and execution teams

  • Demonstrate early partnership value through improved transparency, decision quality, and alignment with Radiometer’s future growth priorities

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel internationally, including customer site visits, subsidiary support, and industry events

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MBA), particularly in healthcare technology, product management, or market strategy

  • Prior experience within acute care or point-of-care diagnostics

  • Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or equivalent lean/continuous improvement methodology

  • Knowledge of IVD regulatory frameworks (IVDR, FDA 510(k)) and their implications for product strategy
