Manager, Open Finance Sales Western Europe (Spanish speaking)

Overview
Open Finance (OFin) is a worldwide phenomenon, that has been accelerating in many markets driven by the commercial opportunities it presents for banks, fintechs, PSPs and Digital Players.
The Europe OFin team is looking for a talented Manager, Product Sales. This position will be responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships with strategic accounts, tapping into new markets to generate new opportunities and sales growth.
This role spans Mastercard’s Open Banking (AIS and PIS) solutions as well as core network data products (Emerging Data Signals including BIN Lookup and Transaction Notifications), requiring engagement across issuers, acquirers, processors and fintech platforms. The role will contribute to OFin’s commercial growth in Western Europe with a key focus on Iberia.

Role
• Drive new business development and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline to close
• Deliver regional growth by helping to craft and executing the go-to-market strategy for Open Finance and data products in Iberia
• Progress deals along the pipeline by supporting the sales process and ensuring clients utilise the full potential of Open Finance and data products
• Forecast growth and report on tracking versus budget for the region and key customer segments
• Own and nurture client relationships, ensuring high-quality customer experience and revenue growth across banks, fintechs, PSPs and acquirers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and local Mastercard teams, the various Open Finance teams (Product, Compliance, Finance, Legal etc), and other internal stakeholders across Europe
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively on sales strategy, setting up cross-functional teams to drive sales forward
• Collaborate closely with other team members and actively support to close Enterprise-grade deals, leading by example

All About You
• Good understanding of the banking and payments landscape, with experience identifying and creating commercial opportunities across issuers, fintechs, PSPs or acquirers
• Proven track record of selling payments, data or banking solutions to enterprise clients in Europe
• Strategic and analytical mindset, combined with a hands-on, execution-driven approach
• Ability to foster a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively across Mastercard to drive collective success
• Ability to operate within a geographically distributed team
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build internal and external networks
• Strong business language skills (written and oral) required in English and Spanish; another European language (eg. Portuguese or Italian) is a plus
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in complex commercial deals
• Customer-first mindset, with the ability to uncover client needs and develop innovative, scalable commercial strategies
