Hexcel is currently seeking a Business Support Analyst - EMEA/AP & Industrial. The position is based in Dagneux, France.
Support the Business Support Manager and key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations by leading initiatives related to Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development, Data Modeling & Database Management, Data Governance & Master Data Management, Process Automation & Digital Transformation, information Systems Administration.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- Support strategic planning and forecasting activities and coordinate budgeting, forecasting (Latest Estimates) and Strategic Plan (STRAP) processes.
- Develop reporting and analytical tools supporting decision-making during LE cycles and ensure data consistency across planning, forecasting and reporting environments.
- Automate recurring reporting activities to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain the integrity and availability of business-critical data and manage master data structures including Product, Customer, Sales Organizations, Geographic Structures, Program Hierarchies and Market Classifications.
- Maintain user access and security roles across reporting platforms and business applications and support data cleansing and data quality improvement initiatives.
- Enable access to information to support departments such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Integrated Supply Chain through structured daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Schedule and distribute routine sales reports and promote continuous improvement through technology.
- Interpret stakeholder requests and translate them into appropriate ad-hoc reports and analyses.
- Develop automated solutions using Power BI, Power Query, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric where applicable, and Excel/VBA for legacy solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate business processes and participate in digital transformation initiatives across the organization and act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree (Bac+5 level minimum) in Information Technology / Data Analytics, Engineering or Data Science.
- Fluent English and French. Other languages appreciated: German, Spanish, Italian.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an international industrial environment with significant exposure to data analytics and reporting.
- Strong experience with tools used at Hexcel: Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, Dashboard Design), SQL Server, T-SQL, Relational Database Design, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL / Data Integration, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform. Desirable experience: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Logility, SSRS and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights. Advanced understanding of data modeling best practices, including star schema and Fact/Dimension models. Capability to design scalable reporting architectures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to lead reporting and analytics projects autonomously. Ability to train and support end users on reporting tools and analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and commercial processes. Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions. Understanding of financial and operational KPIs.
- Strong Marketing environment awareness and understanding of industrial products, customers and competitors. Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Ready to travel occasionally in Europe.
